Thanks to its many years of experience with engine manufacturers in Bavaria, BMW X6 M twin turbo V8 engine proved no exception to its ability to quickly find effective ways of enhancing the performance of an engine. Through a reform of the electronics of the engine, including control DME, and a catalytic conversion including alterations to converters, the power of the 4.4-liter V8 is increased to 687 hp, which with a weight of 2380 kg Tare equivalent to a power weight ratio of 3.4 kg per horsepower. With this, the sprints M6XR Twin Turbo 100 km / h from a standing start in just 4.7 seconds and reaches an incredible speed over 319 km / h.
